Careers
The Cambridge School is much more than a student body and a workplace! It is a community of faith and learning where students love to learn and staff are nurtured spiritually and developed professionally. Committed to excellence in every endeavor, Cambridge staff are investing in Kingdom-building work that is satisfying and lasting.
The Cambridge School believes in the enormous influence of teachers. As “Living Curriculum,” they are not merely highly competent educators but are mature, growing, passionate followers of Christ who daily invest in the intellectual and spiritual formation of their students. They are engaging and wise as they engender a love of learning and execute the rich curriculum that is a hallmark of The Cambridge School. Teachers see healthy relationships with students as foundational to having meaningful influence. They believe in creating a nurturing environment—a place where every student has the opportunity to flourish. They motivate students to reach unwavering high standards. They understand that biblical integration, humility, and academic excellence are inseparable and they, themselves, continue to learn. They see teaching as a high calling and are animated by the promise of the time-tested model of Christian Classicism.
Because The Cambridge School is committed to attracting and retaining gifted and qualified “Living Curriculum” teachers and staff who demonstrate a love for God, for children, for learning, and for teaching, it spends a great deal of time recruiting and assessing potential educators. Once teachers are hired, we commit ourselves to deepening their understanding of Christian Classicism and to training them in classical pedagogy.
