Congratulations to 7th grader Emily Shi!
Competing in over two and half days of intense competition, Emily’s robotic team, Furious Falcons, won the Champion’s Award and 2nd place overall at the 2016 First LEGO League North American Open Championship. The competition included four categories: Robotic Design, Robotic Performance, Research Project and Core Values. Seventy-two teams from North America, Canada and other countries attended this event.
With the help and support from Mrs. Mayne and Dr. Gingrich, Emily is in the process of forming a The Cambridge School Robotics Club so more students from our school can participate in this fun activity.
